How to Get Inexpensive Business Cards
With Pictures of
Your Craft Item on Them!

VistaPrint is an online printing company with great prices for business cards (and other stationary supplies). But the best service this company offers is they allow you to design your own business card by uploading a picture of your craft item and entering text over the picture. And you get these cards for a very low price!

VistaPrint frequently offers sales on business card printing. Sometimes you can get these very custom cards for free, paying only for shipping, which is less than $5.00. I've order two different business cards from them but my second set is my all-time favorite.

I started by getting myself onto the VistaPrint email list by just going to their website -- at www.VistaPrint.com --and entering my email address in the box provided.

Within a couple of weeks an offer for free business cards came to my inbox. I clicked on the link inside their email which took me to their website. After clicking on their free business card offer, I uploaded a picture of my favorite carvings. I added some text over the picture -- my business name, my email address, etc., and placed the order.

The cards arrived in the mail within two weeks. They were better than I expected! For about $5 shipping, I had 250 one-of-a-kind business cards. Nobody has business cards just like mine because I made the craft, took the digital picture, and uploaded it to the business card myself.

Now my cards match my craft item exactly! Very impressive!!!

Also, break out of the thinking that you can only put your company name and address on the front of a business card. You can put any text that will fit, such as the price of that particular craft item, a discount offer, or whatever you want. You can even design your card to be used as a coupon!

For an extra fee, you can put some advertizing onto the back of the cards. You can put a nice greeting, list your prices or mention a benefit of your product.

When you distribute these cards, people are getting an actual picture of your handmade item and how to contact you to get the real thing! For the price, these cards are a very smart business tactic for a crafter.

So, if you're using business cards now -- and you should be -- get on VistaPrint's email list and watch for their free-bees and sales. Attach your very special business cards to every craft item you sell at craft shows, home parties or as special orders and you'll generate repeat business in a very fun way!
